CJ Sansom, Author of the Shardlake Series, Passes Away at 71

Chris Sansom, the acclaimed Scottish author renowned for his captivating Shardlake historical crime series, has sadly passed away at the age of 71. Sansom’s literary journey began over two decades ago with the publication of his debut novel, “Dissolution,” which introduced readers to the astute lawyer Matthew Shardlake. Over the years, he crafted six more novels in the Shardlake series, captivating readers with his meticulous research and gripping storytelling.

An adaptation of “Dissolution” is set to premiere on Disney+, featuring stellar performances by Sean Bean and Arthur Hughes.
