Joey King’s decade-long friendship with Sabrina Carpenter isn’t ending anytime soon!

The A Family Affair star, 25, gushed about watching the pop star, also 25, perform during her recent tour stop in Chicago in an Instagram post on Monday, Oct. 14.

“I got to see my wife perform in chi town last night and I cried of course, she’s just the shortest and sweetest pop star I’ve ever seen? I might let her make me Juno,” she said, referencing Carpenter’s album title, Short n’ Sweet, and song “Juno.

In the post, King included a clip of herself dancing in the pit as Carpenter performed “Please Please Please,” another video of the singer performing her track “Good Graces,” and a few backstage photos with her four nieces and Carpenter.

She attended the concert in a pink outfit, consisting of a mini skirt, baseball cap, and shirt with the word, “camaraderie” — a reference to Carpenter’s song “Bed Chem.”

When a fan asked in the comment section, “girl why are you just in the crowd ??,” King responded, “wanted to mosh babe.”

She continued to speak highly of Carpenter by posting a photo of the two hugging in her Instagram Stories alongside the text, “I love you my brina. perfect girl. perfect show. Feel so lucky to watch you shine.”

In June, after watching Carpenter perform at the Governors Ball music festival, King told PEOPLE that it was her first time watching her perform “in a few years” due to their conflicting work schedules.

“I’m so happy for her and I just can’t stop singing ‘Please Please Please’ … get out of my head,” said King. “It’s so rude of her to make a hit like that. It’s also so rude to make such an addicting music video. It’s really rude to make me watch it six times at 2:00 a.m. when I want to go to bed.”

King, however, told PEOPLE in September that she has many favorite songs from Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet album.
