Christine Brown is reflecting on the life events that led her to finding her husband David Woolley.
In a photo posted to Instagram on Monday, June 17, the Sister Wives star, 52, shared a shot of the happy couple enjoying a quiet evening and watching the sunset.
“Every step of my journey brought me here,” she captioned pictures of the couple with their backs to the camera. “Watching the sunset with my forever love, grateful for every moment that led us to this beautiful beginning. ?? #NewlyMarried #SunsetViews #GratefulHeart.”
Since going public with their relationship in Feb. 2023 followed by their Utah wedding in October, Christine and David have embarked on a number of trips together — including a family vacation to London and their Disneyland honeymoon in Southern California.
The wedding came in the aftermath of Christine’s split from her ex-husband of 25 years, Kody Brown. The two share six kids: daughters Apsyn, Mykelti, Gwendlyn, Ysabel, Truely and son Paedon.
In September 2023, Christine told PEOPLE that her now-husband “has more integrity than anybody I know. He built his business while he was being a single dad, so it’s everything to him.”
She continued of David, “His word is his bond, and it means everything to him…. If he says he’s going to do it, he’s going to do it.”
“He’s a phenomenal person, to the core. He’s just outstanding. Yeah, I just feel like I won a gold mine, major,” she gushed. “I won the lottery with him.”
Unlike her previous relationship, Christine said that her relationship with David is “simple. It’s really simple. It’s a simple, simple life. And I didn’t know I could have a simple life with somebody.”

“I didn’t know I would find a soulmate. I totally found a soulmate. He’s totally my soulmate, and I didn’t even know,” she added, acknowledging, “I come with a lot of complications, and he loves me — and that’s the best thing of all.”
