Bring a bucket and a mop, because Selena Gomez, Steve Martin and Martin Short are listening to “WAP.”

Gomez introduced her Only Murders in the Building costars to Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s racy, ultra-explicit 2020 hit upon its release, she and Short recalled during the June 26 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live guest-hosted by the comedic actor.

“She helps us,” said Short, 74, of himself and Martin, 78. “There are many times when we sit there before a serious scene, and she says, ‘Oh, you haven’t heard the lyrics of “Wet Ass P—-” yet?’”

Immediately bursting into laughter, Gomez, 31, explained, “It had just come out, and I was like, ‘Surely they have an opinion on this song. I wonder what it is.'”

“Steve was saying, ‘Is that from My Fair Lady?’” joked Short of “WAP,” which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 — thanks in part to its steamy music video featuring cameos from Kylie Jenner, Normani, Rosalía, Latto, Sukihana and Rubi Rose.

Elsewhere in the Jimmy Kimmel Live interview, Gomez opened up about how she moves about the world as a public figure with a massive platform of more than 426 million Instagram followers.

“I think it’s been great,” she said of her fame level. “I do what I can with what I have, and I’m so grateful. My grandparents are here. I just want to make my family proud, and I’m just happy.”

The Disney Channel alum recently detailed her thoughts on touring as a musician. “Nothing makes me happier than 90 minutes of being with my fans and just celebrating together,” Gomez told TIME, explaining why she feels “50/50” on the prospect.

“It is very emotionally draining for me. And then you realize you’re just surrounded by a bunch of people that you’re paying,” she added.

The “Single Soon” singer last embarked on a tour around her Revival album in 2016. However, the run of shows ultimately ended early, as she revealed she was struggling with anxiety and depression as a side effect from lupus.

Gomez also told TIME about her thoughts on sharing her relationship with boyfriend Benny Blanco with the public. “I know what people can do to people I love,” she said.

“My own fans, who I adore and feel like have shaped who I am, will say the most hurtful things to me about how I live my life. But he has the strength in him that none of that noise fazes him,” continued the star.
