Lily Collins celebrated the premiere of her latest film with a brand-new hairstyle.

The Emily in Paris star, 35, attended the world premiere of MaXXXine, held at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles on Monday, June 24, rocking a chic, shoulder-length bob cut.

Collins accentuated her hairdo with a dark pink lip, a light blush, and gold earrings. She commanded the red carpet in a sexy baby blue suit jacket and matching draped sarong skirt from Schiaparelli’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection.

The ensemble was paired with a long, oversized necklace that the fashion house’s website states has “rhinestone eyes and commas, as well as a pair of enameled eyes with multiple multicolored rhinestones.”

MaXXXine is the third film in the X franchise. Collins stars alongside Mia Goth, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Kevin Bacon, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, and Giancarlo Esposito.

“In 1980s Hollywood, adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx (Goth) finally gets her big break. But as a mysterious killer stalks the starlets of Hollywood, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past,” a synopsis reads.

Collins teased that she would be attending the film’s red carpet event with a transformation earlier on Monday, writing on Instagram, “Good(bye) hair day…”

The post showed a close-up of Collins smiling in front of a white wall and a picture of the back of her previous haircut.

Back in April 2022, Collins told PEOPLE that she likes to experiment with new hairstyles as “hair for me can be a representation of your personality in so many different ways.”

“But it’s also a really cool, noncommittal way to change your personality because it will grow back,” she continued.

Collins said that she can “definitely see characters as a way to make myself a chameleon of sorts, but also I use photoshoots, Met Balls or big fashion and makeup and hair opportunities as moments to become something different, or at least have a different side of my personality come out.”
