More than 25 years after starring together in Cruel Intentions, Joshua Jackson and Selma Blair had an Oscars night reunion.
The two actors were among the stars at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills on Sunday, Mar. 2, for the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party.
On Monday, Mar. 3, Blair, 52, shared a series of photos from the event on Instagram, including one selfie with Jackson. Another pic, shared in her Instagram stories, showed her Cruel Intentions co-star standing by as she embraced Questlove.

Jackson, 46, stopped by Good Morning America on Tuesday, Mar. 4, to talk about this week’s mid-season premiere of his ABC drama Doctor Odyssey. But host Lara Spencer was quick to note Sunday night’s Cruel Intentions reunion.
“I ran into my friend Selma Blair, who I haven’t seen in a long, long time,” Jackson confirmed.
“It was really lovely to see her and catch up and just have that moment with several people that night,” he continued. “I had a really good night.”

The two actors co-starred in the beloved 1999 teen drama, which set the sexual intrigue of French author Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ 1782 novel Les Liaisons dangereuses at an elite Manhattan prep school. Blair played sheltered Cecile Caldwell, while Jackson took on the role of queer schemer Blaine Tuttle, sporting an impressively ’90s bleach job.
In a slight role reversal, Blair was the blonde bombshell on Oscar night. The actress has been sporting platinum tresses for several years now.
Blair, who was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2018, attended the event with another blonde: her trusty service dog, Scout. The yellow Labrador stole the show, getting lots of love from and photos with Patricia Clarkson, Chrissy Teigen, Michael Keaton, Laverne Cox and Justin Theroux.
“Scout is a solid date,” Blair wrote of her furry friend in Monday’s Instagram post.
