Don’t mess with Jelly Roll!
On Wednesday, July 16, the country star took over Jimmy Kimmel Live! as guest host and interviewed WWE legend Randy Orton, who’s set to be his tag team partner at SummerSlam next month. At the wrestling event, the pair will face off against Logan Paul and Drew McIntyre.
“Don’t worry about those guys, Jelly. We got them,” Orton, 45, said to the “Need a Favor” singer, 40, who said he is “worried about them.”
“We got each other’s back man. We’re in this together,” Orton said.
Moments later, McIntyre — who insisted he came in peace — crashed the interview to trash talk Jelly.

“Nobody flew here to see you act like a prick. Wrong time, wrong place. Why don’t you back the f— up?” Orton said to McIntyre as he gave him a shove, which led to a full-blown fight.
“I don’t know what to do… I guess we’re gonna go to commercial break,” Jelly said after the wrestlers fought their way off the stage.
Then, Paul appeared onstage and started trash-talking Jelly.
“You people are so stupid. Someone has to stop him. What are you dummy? You’re a late-night talk show host? You a wrestler? You a country star? I told you this Mr. Dummy Roll. Stay in your lane, stupid, because I’ll tell you what you are. You, my friend, are a greasy, red neck, prison rat,” he said, before giving Jelly a slap across the face.
He continued, “Congrats, it’s Logan Paul’s show now. A real superstar. So ladies and gentlemen, you want to see a real star? I’m here. Why don’t you leave?”

After recovering from the slap, Jelly grabbed him by the neck and chokeslammed him on the desk, causing it to shatter. As the crowd cheered, Paul laid unconscious on the ground.
On July 11, Jelly made an appearance at SmackDown! in Nashville and had a face-off with Paul. At the time, he got the crowd roaring when he came to Orton’s defense and sent Paul tumbling across the ring.
Meanwhile, as host for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jelly delivered a hilarious monologue to kick off the night — and revealed to the crowd that he had a plan in case his jokes didn’t land.
“I need y’all to be patient with me tonight,” said Jelly. “This is my first time doing something like this, and I’m going to try my best. I am. But if I really suck bad, y’all just remember — my name is Post Malone.”
