Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell are finishing up their holiday shopping.
The longtime couple were photographed while out together in Aspen, Colorado, on Monday, Dec. 23. Hawn, 79, wore an all-black outfit for the occasion, while Russell, 73, wore blue jeans with a brown coat and a white hat while carrying shopping bags.
Hawn and Russell have owned a home in Aspen for decades. They typically spend the holidays in Aspen each year with their children Oliver Hudson, Kate Hudson, Wyatt Russell, Boston Russell and their respective families. Between each of the couple’s children, they are grandparents to eight.

Hawn and Russell have maintained a strong relationship and a blended family for over 40 years, though they chose to never get married.
“You have to have good sex,” Hawn told E! News at MindUP’s The Goldie Hawn Foundation charity event on Sept. 27, when asked about building a successful long-term relationship.
Russell, meanwhile, shared his belief that most long-term couples “share one thing in common” at that same event: “That is that after that many years together, you will have experienced just about everything there is to experience together and understand all the ups and downs and what it means,” he said. “I just love the fact that we met and we’re still doing it. We still like being together.”
Back in 2018, Russell told PEOPLE about his family’s holiday traditions at the premiere of the first Christmas Chronicles movie. In addition to Russell and Hawn’s leading roles as Santa and Mrs. Claus, Oliver, 48, also appeared in the holiday-themed 2018 Netflix movie.
“Christmas is huge in our family. It’s just something that is really a big deal to us,” Russell said at the time. “Santa is the centerpiece of Christmas. It is the one time of the year that we are all able to get together for a good, long period of time, and have all of the things that all families have.”
“We have great joy, great tears, meltdowns, arguments, great laughter,” he added. “It is a wonderful period of time, and we happen to be lucky enough where we are in a great setting in Colorado, and it is beautiful place to be.”
