Jodie Sweetin made lifelong memories on the Full House set!
The actress, 42, proudly recreated her “Motownphilly” dance number from the beloved sitcom’s 1991 “Gotta Dance” episode in a video on Instagram.
Sweetin, joined by Mitchell Gerrard Johnson, danced to the Boyz II Men track wearing an updated version of her character Stephanie Tanner’s black ruffled skirt, matching crop top, and jacket.
“How rude of us not to have done this sooner! ??,” the caption read.
Full House aired for eight seasons from 1987 to 1995. Sweetin reprised her role in the Netflix reboot Fuller House, which spanned five seasons from 2016 to 2020.

It’s no surprise that the mom of two recreated the famous dance number, as she previously told Today in a 2018 interview that it was one of her most memorable experiences on set.
“All of the girls in the background were girls I actually danced with at my dance studio. And my dance teacher came in and choreographed the number for that week and everything. So these were all my friends, ’cause I did grow up dancing,” said Sweetin.
“It was really fun ’cause they would get to come in for the week and I’d get to see all my little dance friends,” she continued. “And this was a number that they already did, that they were doing in competition, and I just jumped in for the week and had to learn it.”
Sweetin and costar Andrea Barber have also relieved their sitcom days by co-hosting the How Rude, Tanneritos! Full House re-watch podcast.
While speaking to PEOPLE in July 2023 before the SAG strike, Sweetin opened up about how her fellow cast members and their kids have maintained a close bond.
“When we were shooting Fuller House, obviously, because the kids were coming around all the time and our families were there all the time. Our moms were close, our kids were close,” she said. “That goes for everybody.”

“It’s not just us as Full House cast members. Really, we got to know everyone’s extended families and nieces and nephews and parents and everything, of the adult cast and the kids,” continued Sweetin. “All of us are connected.”
