Sophie Turner is showing her support for ex-husband Joe Jonas’ latest musical project.
The actress, 29, shared a link to Jonas’ new album, Music for People Who Believe in Love, on her Instagram Stories on Saturday, May 24, along with the caption “Go go @joejonas.”

The album, which dropped on Friday, May 23, is Jonas’ first solo project since 2011’s Fastlife, and he recently shared that he didn’t even initially intend to write it while speaking exclusively to PEOPLE.
“We were writing for a camp for the [Jonas] Brothers,” Jonas, 35, told PEOPLE. “I just felt so drawn to this one song, and I asked the guys for approval. I was like, ‘Hey, can I please take this one and maybe just explore where this could go for myself?’ It felt very personal.”
“Nick’s words were like, ‘I mean, I get it. I’m jealous, but I get it.’ He’s like, ‘I didn’t write on it, so I can’t really say no,’ ” he recalled.
Jonas said that he and a team of writers, including Justin Trainor, Alexander 23 and Lush, “just carried on and made the album in two-some weeks.” He also said that he was so excited to share his new music with the world that he almost released it last fall.
“I was eager to get it out for a while there. I think last year at some point, I called my manager, I was like, ‘Can I just leak the album or put it out?’ I was like, ‘I’m tired of waiting,’ ” he recalled.
However, Jonas told PEOPLE that he is ultimately glad he was “convinced not to,” as his most recent single, “Heart by Heart,” wouldn’t have been on the new album.
Jonas has previously been open about the fact that his new music was largely inspired by his split from Turner.
“It was scary at times, and also freeing,” the musician told Billboard in August 2024 while discussing his decision to write about the relationship. “I’m not trying to come for anyone on this album. I’m not trying to put stuff on blast … I’m a happy person, and the music needed to resemble that — but also, the journey to get here.”

“I was going through a lot of life changes, finding out who I was as a person and father and friend, and living under the microscope of what the music industry can be. And I think, at such a crazy time in my life, I looked to music as an outlet,” he continued.

The pair — who officially divorced in September 2024 and share daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2 — opened up about their decision to part ways in a joint Instagram post in September 2023.
They wrote: “After four wonderful years of marriage we have mutually decided to amicably end our marriage. There are many speculative narratives as to why, but truly this is a united decision and we sincerely hope that everyone can respect our wishes for privacy for us and our children.”
In the September 2024 divorce settlement, Jonas and Turner agreed to joint custody of their two children. That same month, a source told PEOPLE that the former couple was peacefully co-parenting.
“They turned things around from the initial messy custody battle,” the source said. “They are friendly and great co-parents now.”
The source also said the two had “decided to focus on what’s best for their girls,” adding, “The divorce was difficult for all of them.”
