Over three decades into her career, Mary J. Blige is hitting the road again for a very special For My Fans tour across America.
The multiple Grammy Award winner announced on Monday, Sept. 30 that she’s embarking on a special tour in 2025 to celebrate not just the release of her forthcoming album, Gratitude, which arrives Nov. 15, but also the people who make it all possible.
The 27-city tour kicks off on Jan. 30 at the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina and makes stops at arenas worldwide, including State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, and a night at Madison Square Garden for an exciting show in her hometown of New York City. The tour will wrap up on April 14 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.
Staying true to the name For My Fans, Blige wanted to dedicate the career-spanning romp to her fans. “This tour is for them, and I cannot wait to be able to travel to all these cities and see everyone,” she said. “I am in such a place of immense gratitude and peace at this moment, so also having the chance to release my new album Gratitude on November 15th ahead of this tour is really special to me.”
Blige will be joined by fellow R&B vet NE-YO, who’s featured on the deluxe edition of her 2022 album Good Morning Gorgeous, and “Let Me Love You” singer Mario.
Citi cardholders can purchase presale tickets beginning Wednesday, Oct. 2 at 10 a.m. local time until Thursday, Oct. 3 at 11:59 p.m. local time before the general public. General onsale begins Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. local time.
Gratitude is the first album released under her own record label Beautiful Life Productions, established in 2023, and in partnership with 300 Entertainment.
Blige is gearing up for the Oct. 19 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony taking place in Cleveland, Ohio. The singer is set to be inducted alongside Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Kool & the Gang, Ozzy Osbourne and A Tribe Called Quest.
