Lucy Hale Celebrates 15th Anniversary of ‘Pretty Little Liars’ With Candid Throwback Photos and Heartfelt Note ArticlePure

Lucy Hale isn’t keeping any more secrets from the set of Pretty Little Liars, in honor of the show’s 15th anniversary.

Hale, 36, shared an Instagram post of candid behind-the-scenes photos and videos from the Freeform show. In the Monday, June 16, post, the actress wrote, “happy 15 years to PLL ? the nostalgia!!”

“Some of these photos are so low quality but it really was a different time lol,” Hale continued. “The last slide is a video I stumbled on and didn’t even realize I had. Just a small, but not uncommon moment while filming this show ??.”

“This experienced changed my life and I will always be grateful to everyone involved. And to all of you, who made this one incredible ride,” Hale, who starred as Aria Montgomery on the series, continued. “Thank you for keeping this alive for so many years and I know it’ll be one that people keep discovering. I want to hear all the crazy A theories you had in the comments ?.”

Pretty Little Liars, which ran on the CW from 2010 to 2017, centers on a group of teenage girls in small town Pennsylvania as they navigate their best friend’s disappearance — and possible murder — with plenty of small town melodrama on the way, including being stalked by an ominous presence that goes by “A.”

Hale’s PLL cast mates also celebrated the anniversary of the show’s release in the comments. Troian Bellisario, who played Spencer Hastings, wrote, “Still can’t believe it! Miss you sweet goose!” Sasha Pieterse, who played the disappeared Alison DiLaurentis, wrote, “Love you so much!”

Some fans followed Hale’s directions in sharing their “A” theories in the comments. One user wrote, “Aria should have been A for so many reasons and I SWEAR that’s where it was headed bc there were so many clues and signs!!!”

In the years since Pretty Little Liars, Hale acted in Truth or Dare and Fantasy Island, and mostly recently appeared in F*** Marry Kill.
