Jill Zarin is making sure her daughter Ally Shapiro feels loved on her 32nd birthday following news of her broken engagement with Jordan Bilfeld.
Shapiro marked the milestone on Friday, Nov. 1 — the same day that PEOPLE confirmed that she and the VaynerMedia director called things off after getting engaged in August.
Page Six first reported the news on Thursday, Oct. 31, after Zarin, 60, told the outlet that her daughter and Bilfeld made “the difficult decision” to end their engagement after “much reflection.”
“And as a family, we are focused on supporting [Ally] through this time. We appreciate your understanding and request privacy on this personal matter,” she added in her statement.
The Real Housewives of New York City alum shared various family photos on Instagram, including photos from Shapiro’s childhood. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter, my heart, my everything,” she wrote.

“Watching you grow from a sweet baby into the incredible woman you are today has been my greatest joy,” her caption continued. “This year, as you embark on a new chapter, remember that life’s journey has its ups and downs, but you are stronger, braver, and more resilient than you know.”
Zarin wrote that she is “so proud” of the “light” Shapiro brings to those around her, adding, “Here’s to fresh starts, endless love, and all the amazing things still to come.”
She ended her tribute by writing, “Happy 32nd birthday, my love. Always by your side, forever in your corner. Love, Mommy??????.” Shapiro commented on the sweet post, writing, “Aw love you the most ??????.”
On her Instagram Stories, Shapiro shared photos with friends and a photo of herself blowing out candles on a cake during SoulCycle. “Birthday morning with @sydmiller @soulcycle ??,” she wrote over the image.
The birthday girl also marked the occasion on TikTok by uploading a video of herself in beachwear, mouthing along with the audio.
