Jen Affleck is proud of the learning and progress that’s come with working on her marriage.

Speaking with PEOPLE as she helps celebrate four all-new Ninja Thirsti® Dirty Soda Packs, designed in collaboration with the ladies of MomTok, the 26-year-old shared her and husband  Zac Affleck’s one rule to keep their marriage centered.

“This is going to sound cliche, but where your energy goes, your energy flows. I feel like if you aren’t putting effort in your relationships — whether that be your marriage or your relationship with your kids, it’s hard to keep up with that,” Jen tells PEOPLE.

“Something that Zac and I have done and something that we’ve worked on in therapy is really making our relationship a focus. That’s something that I now take pride in, but it’s a full-time job.”

The couple, who share son Lucas, 23 months, and daughter Nora, 3, are also focused on keeping their principles aligned as they enjoy the life that their rising fame has provided.

Jen says that when it comes to her family’s success and happiness, she’s learned to recognize, “Opportunities will come and go, but family is first.”

“Family will always be there. That’s been my center at the end of the day, that’s what is most important to me. I always go back to that. I always go back to my kids and my relationship and that opportunities will come and go, but family will always be there.”

Jen is busier than ever these days, but credits staying on top of trends — and new dirty soda recipes — with her ability to try them at home, thanks to her Ninja Thirsti.

“Just how some people like to make their coffee at home, some of us like to make our dirty sodas at home. It’s perfect for busy parents like me or anyone who is looking for a fun drink without leaving home,” she says, adding, “I love how convenient it is.”
