After a memorable visit from Jennifer Lopez, an Italian store named one of its dresses after the star!

While vacationing with friends in southern Italy this week, the actress and singer, 54, visited a handmade clothing store and purchased a dress — which the shop then named after her.

Reflecting on Lopez’s visit, an employee of the store told PEOPLE, “She came in, you could tell she was really enjoying herself.”

Lopez and her friends had an impromptu dance party at the store, the employee recalled. “When she heard music by Geolier [an Italian rapper] being played, she started dancing,” they said. “We all looked at her, she is so beautiful. It was so cute, her dancing.”

“She was happy, she was radiant and she danced,” the employee said, adding, “It was great to have her with us. She appeared very calm and relaxed [and] above all, happy. You could tell she was happy as she was all smiles.”

And Lopez did not leave empty-handed. The star “bought a traditional local dress,” the employee said, adding, “She was so smiley when she came to the till to pay for the dress.”

The store has since renamed the white and gold garment “the Jennier Lopez” — and it’s selling like hot cakes.

“It’s already becoming a summer trend,” the employee said, adding, “People are constantly asking for it.”

The Atlas star has been showing off her style throughout her Italian getaway, including a recent yacht look.

For a day of sunbathing and snapping photos with friends on Friday, June 21, Lopez paired a plunging white one-piece Gooseberry Intimates swimsuit with matching open-toe heels.

Lopez pulled her hair into a high ponytail and, in true J.Lo fashion, accessorized with oversized sunglasses and gold jewelry. She was also seen in a chocolate-brown cover-up and carrying a Christian Dior Hat Basket Bag.

The actress was also photographed on a boat earlier this week, on June 18, rocking the same basket bag, which she paired with a cream-colored bandeau top, coordinating multicolored shorts and gold sandals.

Lopez’s stylish getaway kicked off as a source told PEOPLE that the star has been making plans to travel this summer. Her husband of almost two years, Ben Affleck, meanwhile, is currently in Los Angeles filming The Accountant 2.
