Blake Lively Wears Floral Mini Dress and Mushroom Purse ArticlePure

Blake Lively is knocking her style out of the park yet again with another floral look.

While out and about in New York City’s Meatpacking District on Wednesday, July 31, the actress, 36, rounded out her day of floral-inspired looks with a dazzling mini dress by Dauphinette.

The multicolored ensemble features a botanical motif and intricate beading. Lively also wore a beaded overcoat from the brand, sparkling red pumps, chunky jewelry and a mushroom-shaped purse. According to an Instagram post from Dauphinette, the Chinoiserie mini dress required over 300 hours of sewing.

While at the launch of her new hair care brand, Blake Brown Beauty, Lively told a group of editors that her mushroom purse is a nod to her love of fairies.

“I have a mushroom as my emoji and now everyone offers me mushrooms all the time,” she said. “But I really just like fairies.”

“So if you like mushrooms, come to me because I’ve never tried mushrooms, people hand them to me a lot,” the star joked.

Earlier in the day, Lively was promoting her new film It Ends with Us, in which she plays florist Lily Bloom. Throughout the press tour, the star has taken to dressing on theme, infusing her looks with flower-inspired designs.

For press events on N.Y.C.’s Upper West Side, she wore not one but two colorful, floral ensembles. The first was a light blue dress with a multicolored feather skirt and bodice that featured flowers and musical notes. Lively accessorized with multicolored pumps and large dangling earrings, and pulled her hair back into a sleek ponytail.

The star also wore a white halter dress with a floral design and layered skirt. She accessorized with pink open-toe pumps, bangle bracelets and large floral rings.

Earlier this week, Lively shared photos from an It Ends with Us press event where she wore a lacy, champagne-colored midi dress with floral details by Michael Kors. She added jewels from Brent Neale and a pair of white Christian Louboutin pumps, which, as she points out in the Instagram caption, have a floral stem on the heel.

The look also featured a sweet and subtle nod to her bestie Gigi Hadid — a cozy tan cardigan from Hadid’s luxury knitwear brand, Guest in Residence.
