Bebe Rexha ‘Said What I Said’ After Removing Instagram Story Slamming G-Eazy ArticlePure

Bebe Rexha spilled tea about G-Eazy — and she’s not cleaning it up!

The singer, 34, posted to her Instagram Stories featuring a video of herself sipping a beverage while wearing a black tank top and sweats on Friday, June 14.

“I said what I said,” text over the video read. It was set to her 2024 song “I’m the Drama,” and lyrics of the song were scrolling over the screen.

The new Instagram Story was likely referencing a previous story she posted and then deleted from her account on Thursday, June 13, slamming her former collaborator, G-Eazy, (né Gerald Earl Gillum), 35. The pair first worked together in 2015 on their hit “Me, Myself & I” and teamed up again on Rexha’s All Your Fault: Pt. 1  2017 album track “F.F.F.” (F— Fake Friends) before their relationship appears to have gone south.

Thursday’s Story featured a screengrab of a text message from someone on her team about potentially shooting social media content with the rapper.

“@geazy you have my number,” Rexha wrote over the screengrab in the since-deleted post. “Why don’t you text me and ask me yourself you stuck up ungrateful loser.”

You’re lucky people are liking you again,” she continued. “Cause I could go in on all the s—ty things you’ve done and how you treated me after giving you your only real hit,”

The “I’m Good” singer concluded the post: “Btw the answer is no. Hope you good.”

Rexha deleted the Story and explained why she did so in a post on X (formerly Twitter) Thursday, admitting she regretted it.

“Someone from my team had me take down my Instagram story. I decided to remove it because it felt very negative and toxic. Sometimes trauma can lead us to react that way, and that period of my life was traumatizing,” she wrote.

“I am writing this because I regret taking it down and I want to say that I still stand by what I said,” the post concluded.

Reps for both G-Eazy and Rexha didn’t reply to PEOPLE’s request for comment on the matter.
