Baltimore Ravens Fan Gets a New Tattoo Every Time the NFL Team Wins a Game ArticlePure

A die-hard Baltimore Ravens fan is hoping to tattoo his way to a Super Bowl win!

Superfan Nic Cullison (jokingly) vowed in Sept. 2021 that he would get new ink every time the Ravens won a game, up until they clinched the Lombardi trophy. But he stuck to that promise, and now, 45 tattoos later, he’s game to keep going with the hopes that Lamar Jackson and the team earn that Super Bowl win next month, he told ABC affiliate WMAR

As the Ravens have racked up wins, Cullison has racked up tattoos, with a new one coming just last Saturday.

It’s now one of his favorite tattoos — a signature from Ravens tight end, Mark Andrews, on his leg — which his wife, Naomi, happily tattooed just as she has all of his others.

She tattooed the signature as the couple sat on the sidelines of the game as the Ravens beat the Pittsburgh Steelers on Jan. 11.

“I mean, obviously I was the first person to ever get tattooed at M&T Bank, which was a pretty crazy experience,” Cullison told the outlet.

“The Ravens set up a really cool opportunity where I got Mark Andrews to sign my leg after the game and I got tattooed on the field, which was a dream so that was cool,” he added.

Speaking of the whirlwind experience, Cullison said, “It just seems like each week keeps getting more and more surreal.”

As he continues to hope for a Ravens Super Bowl win, Cullison shared that while he does enjoy celebrating his team with tattoos, he’s ready to get his final piece of ink if they win a ring.

“We’ve gotten so many cool experiences out of this and it’s been awesome, but a tattoo every week is a lot. 44 tattoos is a lot. Don’t get me wrong, we enjoy it, but once we win the Super Bowl, I believe it will be done,” he said.

The Baltimore Ravens will next face the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, Jan. 19.
