Angus T. Jones is stepping out.

The former child star, 30, was spotted out during a rare public appearance in Los Angeles, California, on Saturday, June 29.

For the daytime outing, Jones wore a black T-shirt and blue jeans. He accessorized his look with a black hat and a pair of glasses.

Jones is known for his role as Jake — the son of Jon Cryer’s character, single dad Alan Harper — on Two and a Half Men.

During an October 2016 interview with PEOPLE, Jones reflected on his television role and being a part of the entertainment business as a whole.

He said that instead attending college at the time was “something I was really, really excited about” because it meant he “wasn’t the center of everyone’s attention, and that was nice.”

Jones added that he “got pretty doomsday with my thinking for a long time,” but said, “Now I’m having fun and enjoying where I’m at. I no longer feel like every step I take is on a landmine.”

He has since largely stayed away from Hollywood since the end of Two and a Half Men. His last role, per his IMDB page, was when he reunited with former costar Charlie Sheen for a cameo appearance in the MAX show Bookies,

Jones was spotted out and about during another rare appearance in Los Angeles earlier this year.

Back in April, he was photographed taking a stroll while wearing a baseball cap, sunglasses, a T-shirt and gray sweatpants.
