Alexander Ludwig and his wife Lauren are officially parents of two!

The Vikings actor and his wife welcomed their second baby together, they announced in a joint Instagram post on Friday, July 5.

Sharing a sweet photo of their newborn sleeping, they revealed his name and birthdate in the caption.

“Townes Alexander Ludwig – born 6/12/24 at 5:22pm ?? he is everything.”

The couple’s new addition joins daughter Leni, whom they welcomed in April 2023.

The Bad Boys 4 star first announced he and Lauren were expecting their second baby in March.

In their joint post on Instagram, the actor and country singer held their daughter Leni, making a surprised face. Lauren had her sweatpants rolled down and her white tank top pushed up, highlighting her baby bump.

“Ooooops ??? New baby Ludwig coming June 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited,” the proud parents wrote in their caption.

Alexander and Lauren eloped in 2020 just a few months after getting engaged and shared in February 2023 that they were expecting a baby after experiencing multiple pregnancy losses.

“It’s been a long road, and we wanted to wait until things were looking promising this time around,” Alexander wrote alongside a photograph of himself cradling his wife’s baby bump. “Thank you guys for all of the support. We couldn’t be more grateful. ??.”
